HSE University–St Petersburg Awards Winners of INTO HSE 2025 in Indonesia

HSE University–St Petersburg has held the grand award ceremony for the winners and prizewinners of INTO HSE 2025, which was organised with support from the Russian House in Jakarta. The competitions took place in Surabaya and Jakarta and served as an important step in developing educational cooperation between Russia and Indonesia.

The grand award ceremony for winners and prizewinners of INTO HSE 2025 was organised by HSE University–St Petersburg and the International Admissions Office at HSE University–Moscow. INTO HSE 2025 was held at the beginning of the year in Surabaya and Jakarta.

Svyatoslav Kvartalnov, Director of the Representative Offices Department at HSE University–St Petersburg, highlighted that working with talented school students from Indonesia was a significant part of the university's development strategy. 'For us, it is important not only to organise and hold events but also to build real-life, close relations with participants, support their interest in Russian education, and showcase the openness and accessibility of educational opportunities at HSE University. We see the Asia–Pacific region in general and Indonesia in particular as one of the priority directions for developing our international initiatives. We are genuinely happy to see the interest of talented school students in Russian education and strive to create even more opportunities for their academic and professional growth,' he comments.

Bima Yatna Anugerah Ramadhani, Director of the HSE Representative Office in Indonesia, added that communication with olympiad participants provided valuable feedback. 'We see how school students become passionate about the idea of continuing their education in Russia. This inspiration and lively interest are the best indicators that our efforts find a response and contribute to enhancing academic ties between our countries', he highlighted.

In the framework of developing educational initiatives in Indonesia, HSE University–St Petersburg is preparing new projects and events, including an olympiad for school students which will take place next year.
