Registration for Electives Opens on June 6
Students can choose courses, groups and timetables until June 19
Registration for elective courses will begin on June 6. Students of all bachelor’s, master’s and specialist’s programmes can choose their desired subjects, groups and timetables for the next academic year using the new SmartWay service.
This year’s selection includes both regular courses (where registration is automatic after applying) and courses with additional selection requirements (such as testing, motivation letters, etc).
There are three stages to the course selection process:
- The main course selection stage begins on June 6 at 12:30 pm Moscow time and ends on June 8 at 6:30 pm MSK. After that, places will be allocated for courses with additional selection requirements, the results of which will be sent to applicants’ university email addresses.
- Students who are not accepted onto their desired courses can make a new selection on June 14 between 12:30 pm and 23:59 pm.
- The third stage concerns timetable selection for both elective and core courses if classes are held in several groups.
For more information on the options for creating an individual curriculum (including changing courses) please see the website of the Educational Trajectory Centre.
At the start of September, first-year students will select elective disciplines and second-year master’s students will choose MAGOLEGO electives.
