HSE University-St Petersburg represented Russia at the annual higher education summit EURIE 2024 in Istanbul.

This year, under the international academic mobility programme, she went to Indonesia where she spent a semester at the Universitas Indonesia. On March 15, international students from more than ten countries visited an authentic Russian village to celebrate Maslenitsa. This week-long ancient holiday is impossible not to love: delicious pancakes with dozens of sweet and sour toppings, lots of games and activities, and the epic burning of the Maslenitsa doll will not leave anyone indifferent. On January 30, St Petersburg hosted the International Scientific Conference 'Russia and Oceania: New Challenges and Prospects'. The event was timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and the Republic of Fiji.

Our first hero is Mariana Rait, a 4th-year student of the Bachelor's programme 'International Business and Management'. The students spent this autumn in Istanbul where she went for the exchange studies at Bogazici University.
