Conference in Ireland

Associate Professors at the School of Foreign Languages Vera Meniailo and Natalia Tuliakova took part in the conference ‘Longing and Belonging: European Network of Comparative Literary Studies 6th Biennail Congress’ that was held on August 24-28 in Dublin and Galway, Ireland. 

Vera Meniailo presented the report ‘What Does it Mean to Be English: The Problem of Identity in ‘Daniel Martin’’. Natalia Tuliakova spoke on ‘‘Desire to Ape the Man’: A Female-monk Motif in the 19th Century Literature’.
