The Making of Applied Biology in Russia: the Interaction between Science and Practice in the 19th – Early 20th Century

Marina Loskutova, an Associate Professor at the History Department, has published a book entitled “The Making of Applied Biology in Russia: the Interaction between Science and Practice in the 19^th – Early 20^th Century” (co-authored with Anastasia Fedotova, a senior researcher at the St. Petersburg Branch of the Institute for the History of Science and Technology, the Russian Academy of Sciences). 

The book was released in November 2014 by Nestor-Historia Publishing House.
