Postdoctoral Fellowships at the Center for Historical Research
The Center for Historical Research of the Higher School of Economics in St. Petersburg, Russia, invites applications for two postdoctoral research positions within the current projects of the Center: “Post-imperial diversities: Majority-minority relations in the transition from empires to nation-states” and “Transformation of Regimes of Governing Diversity: Subjecthood Discourses and Practices in the Russian Empire.” Only candidates with Russian citizenship are eligible.
Requierements:
- Russian citizenship
- Candidate of Sciences/PhD degree
- by 39 years
Successful candidates will be engaged in one of the current research projects of the Center: “Post-imperial diversities: Majority-minority relations in the transition from empires to nation-states” or “Transformation of Regimes of Governing Diversity: Subjecthood Discourses and Practices in the Russian Empire”.
There is one vacant position for each project.
Successful candidates will get the opportunity to work in international research team in framework of the chosen research project, participate in research seminars of the Center (including the regular research seminar "Boundaries of History") and use research resources of the Center (The Richard Stites Memorial Historical Library, information resources and databases of HSE).
