They provide a platform for networking with potential employers, gaining insights into various industries, attending workshops and lectures, exploring job opportunities, receiving feedback on resumes, participating in mock interviews, and engaging in interactive activities like games and competitions. Additionally, these events allow students and graduates to connect with industry professionals, learn about the current job market trends, and enhance their career development skills. Overall, career forums and fairs serve as valuable resources for individuals seeking to kickstart or advance their careers.
Five months ago I joined the employer brand team at a major consulting and audit firm. My main job is to connect with students and help them find good career paths. That is why, I decided to create an overview of the career fairs I attended during this academic year (both as an expert and a student). Numerous companies represented on these career events are open to hiring and are actively looking for students with a rich background in foreign languages and various cultures.
