HSE Board Games Club and HSE Chess Club. Open for International Students

There are lots of clubs and different thematic groups at HSE in St. Petersburg. Nevertheless, it is quite hard to attend most of them for international students due to language barrier.

However, there are several clubs where English-speaking students can feel comfortable and confident. They are HSE Board Games Club and HSE Chess Club.

HSE Board Games Club

If you are looking for new friends or just want to relax after classes, you should visit this club.

Several HSE students organize club meetings but more and more people become regular members of the Club. Students have a lot of different games and everyone can find something to their liking.

Club meetings are held every Sunday in campus on Kantemirovskaya street and each student can participate in games.

HSE Chess Club

A club organizes tournaments and ordinary chess games.

Every Monday and Wednesday on campus at Kantemirovskaya organizers hold lectures and games helping students and guests of the University to play chess better and better.

Moreover, it is a great chance to collect necessary points for Physical Training classes as the Chess Club is one of the HSE sport sections. Tournaments are also held regularly. Anyone can take part and try their best in that uneasy game.

Everyone is welcome to come to the Clubs and it is a great chance to become part of our University!
