Course Syllabus

Abstract

This course is designed to develop competencies for effective management of social projects in a multicultural environment. Students will discover key theories of cross-cultural management (Hofstede, Hall, Trompenaars), study the peculiarities of intercultural communication, and learn how to adapt social entrepreneurship strategies to diverse cultural contexts. Special emphasis is placed on building trust, working in international teams, engaging with vulnerable groups, and designing ethically sustainable solutions. The course integrates academic theory with practical learning through case studies, simulations, group assignments, and a final project focused on creating a cross-cultural strategy for a social enterprise. It is recommended for students interested in global social initiatives, international development, and cross-border collaboration.
