In the new project, the Center's team will focus on attitudes regarding the working and employment regimes of workers aged 18-25 and employers.

The Center for Youth Studies has launched a new project: Generation Z in search of balance: working conditions, work regimes and life values in the views of young people and employers

The purpose of the research is a comprehensive analysis of attitudes towards the work and employment regimes of generation Z youth and employers in the conditions of the modern Russian labor market, including the field of scientific production.

Research objectives:
  • the study of attitudes of generation Z youth in relation to work and employment regimes, including professional and career expectations, workplace requirements and working conditions. Analysis of the employment experience of young people entering the labor market. Identification of contradictions in the requirements of the employer, the existing working conditions and the expectations of young people. Typologization of ways to adapt, overcome and resolve conflicts;
  • analysis of employers' attitudes towards young employees. Description of the experience of interacting with generation Z youth in the workplace. Highlighting the key issues related to the work of young employees and their attitude to work. Identification of effective ways to adapt young people to the norms of the work collective and working conditions;
  • the study of the value attitudes of young people in relation to the balance of life and work, the place of work in a life project and life planning in general. Analysis of the correspondence between the demands of youth and the corporate culture of employers in different sectors of the economy, including the scientific sphere;
  • identification of the specifics of work attitudes, career trajectories, working conditions and building a life project of young researchers within the university environment.
