The Russian Foundation for Basic Research supported the CYS application to conduct a study on anti-crisis youth policies in Russia and Europe
The "Anti-crisis Potential of Youth Policies in Russia and Europe in the Era of Global Risks: National Imaginary, Patriotism and Social Engagement" research was supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and Social Research Expert Institute (EISI). Elena Omelchenko, the director of the Centre for Youth Studies, will lead the project team.
The working group's task in this project is to define the anti-crisis potential of modern youth policies in Russia and several European countries and to identify resources and means that allow or impede states to handle crises and to redefine the formats of interaction and work with young people, increasing the country's stability and the well-being of youth.
The study will cover a range of European countries: it is planned to conduct a comparative analysis of anti-crisis youth policies in Finland, Germany, Greece, the UK, and Russia.
The current project is being implemented in the format of a (predominantly) qualitative mix-method study.
It is planned to collect data in English and Russian languages.
The results of the study will be available to all project participants, hence we invite our local and international colleagues to participate.
We are happy to conduct this project and are ready to carry out the research at the highest level. Follow the news of CYS on our website and on social networks!
