Teachers of the master's program "Strategic Management in Logistics" took part in the seminar "Open Campus": Modern methods of logistics and supply chain management.

On May 26, 2021, a regular expert seminar of the Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg “Open Campus” took place: Modern methods of logistics and supply chain management. How can you reduce costs by 15% with the help of effective inventory management with rare demand?

The meeting was attended by teachers of the master's program "Strategic Logistics Management", who will conduct classes with students in the 2021-2022 academic year:

Zolotukhina Irina Viktorovna, expert, previously deputy. Director of Ford Sollers;

Maksimov Maksim Georgievich, commercial director of the company "Solvo";

Dmitry Leontyev, Head of the Logistics Department of the Sveza Group of Companies;

Bernadsky Igor Elmarovich, Leading Data Analysis and Control Specialist, Baltika Breweries.

During the seminar, topical issues of logistics development and supply chain management and the most significant results achieved by scientific research laboratories in the field of logistics at the Higher School of Economics, St. Petersburg were discussed.

Prof. V.S. Lukinskiy spoke about the issues that are currently receiving attention: forecasting demand in a short time series; centralization and decentralization of stocks in multi-level systems; multi-criteria decision-making methods (MCDM) and others.
