The Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management was established in 2014. It is part of the School of Economics and Management at HSE St. Petersburg, a ‘big faculty’ that brings together economists and management specialists.
Teachers in the department support both the Bachelor’s programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the Master’s programme in Strategic Supply Chain Management.

Zolotukhina, Director for Customs Policy and Import Substitution, Ford Sollers JV (2015-2019), will conduct classes for second-year masters of 'Strategic Management in Logistics' programme within the framework of the discipline Interfunctional and Interorganizational Integration in logistics.
The main topics of Irina Viktorovna’s classes, based on the study of real situations (practical cases):
- Planning of production processes (Production planning. Interaction with Sales and Marketing).
- Transport logistics. Transport logistics. Role of the LLP (Lead Logistics provider).
- Interaction with customs authorities (Importance of customs compliance. Customs payments (duty, fee and VAT). Responsibility for wrong customs payments).
- Warehouse (Warehouse: a place for long-term storage or an intelligent facility? Unloading, acceptance, sorting and decanting).
- Inventory turnover. Aged inventory. Shelf life. Managing obsolete inventory.
- Packaging (Durable and expendable packaging. Who designes packaging? Criteria for reliable packaging).
