The Department of Finance was created on the basis of the Department of Financial Markets which was founded in 1998 and is the oldest in the campus. The staff have a broad spectrum of research interests including problems of corporate finance, financial markets and institutions, risk, corporate tax planning, accounting and audits and innovation.

AMEC 2019: II Analytics for Management and Economics Conference
The second annual international Analytics and Economics Conference AMEC 2019 will take place on September 27-28 at St. Petersburg School of Economics and Management, HSE.

HSE SEM having a pronounced expertise in analytics sees its role in connecting scholars and business practitioners worldwide.
