The Centre for Health Economics, Management and Policy held it’s first ‘work in progress’ seminar on December 23^rd 2015. The seminar addressed one of the main challenges facing both developed and emerging economies – namely, that of ageing populations. Three promising working papers were presented covering the interaction between mental health and social support; the role of social capital in healthy ageing; and the problems of using subjective health measures in health related research.
