The Challenge of Healthy Ageing

The Centre for Health Economics, Management and Policy held it’s first ‘work in progress’ seminar on December 23rd 2015. The seminar addressed one of the main challenges facing both developed and emerging economies – namely, that of ageing populations. Three promising working papers were presented covering the interaction between mental health and social support; the role of social capital in healthy ageing; and the problems of using subjective health measures in health related research.

Full details can be found in the seminar programme.
