CHEMP visits Almazov Centre

Professor Gerry participated in a special seminar hosted by the Federal North-West Almazov Medical Centre on Friday 26 March, where he presented a brief overview of the International Centre for Health Economics, Management and Policy (CHEMP) followed by a more detailed description of the Cardiovascular Project that CHEMP is developing. Professor David Leon, of London School of Health and Tropical Medicine gave an overview of International Cardiovascular trends and patterns over the past half century. CHEMP hopes that this will mark the beginning of a fruitful collaboration with both David Leon and the Almazov Centre, that will be consolidated when a number of scholars and clinicians from Almazov attend the CHEMP workshop on March 21st to discuss Health Economic Evalutation.
