Nikita Balagurov has received Deutsches Historisches Institut Moskau scholarship

Nikita Balagurov, PhD student and analyst of Center for Historical Research has received Deutsches Historisches Institut Moskau 6-months scholarship to conduct archival research on the topic of his PhD thesis  Politics of Alexander III in the Sphere of Visual Arts.

This year, DHI has decided to split its year scholarship between two best applicants, and Nikita Balagurov was named one of them. Previously, Balagurov’s project had been supported within DHI short term fellowship program.
DHI supports archival research on the topics of the history of the post-Soviet space as well as German-Russian/Soviet relations. Its’ year scholarship program is announced annually and attracts dozens of applications from doctoral students from Russia and abroad.
