From general to specific: from general management theory to real company cases

Global Classrooms: Continuing Collaboration between HSE – St. Petersburg and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU)
In February and March, the Institute of Continuing Professional Education, the School of Economics and Management, HSE St. Petersburg, and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University Polytechnic University (PolyU) participated in international project the Global Classroom, which aims to conduct joint classes for various universities in online format, which allows them to gain experience in communicating with representatives of different countries, as well as to find out which issues in business and society are currently most relevant for different countries and how they are being resolved.

Initiation, Lectures and a Lot of Music: What We Will Remember About HSE SPB DAY 2023
HSE SPB Day has been held at Sevkabel Port in the open air. HSE students were congratulated on the beginning of the academic year by the trustees, faculty deans, and the rousing HSE Dance Club. The first-years had an initiation ceremony, participated in activities from student clubs, and danced to popular songs on the Gulf of Finland. They received well wishes from the professors, representatives of large companies and, of course, student organisations. Students of 'International Bachelor’s in Business and Economics' to Analyse Products of Partner-Companies
For two months, first-years will work closely with the programme's partners. Among them are VK, 'Gazprom', 'Sberbank', Tele2, 'Business Solutions and Technologies', 'Technologies of trust', Kept, 'Samolet', Setl City, 'Geropharm', 'Northern Capital Gateway', Alexandrinsky Theatre, Fabergé Museum, 'Bookvoed' and many others. This is the first fieldwork for students. The projects presentation will take place at the end of May.

'University is a Community of Both Current and Future Professionals': How HSE Orientation Week Went
HSE Orientation Week came to an end. It was organised by the Career Centre and the Alumni Community. Within a week, there were 12 meetings at HSE University-St Petersburg in which 40 alumni of the campus and 350 first-years took part. HSE SPB Day 2022: How It Went
This year, HSE University-St Petersburg's traditional HSE SPB Day event returned in an offline format. It was held on September 11 in the Sevkabel Port creative space. Students, lecturers, the administration and partners of the campus met by the Gulf of Finland to celebrate the brightest holiday of the autumn, which symbolised the beginning of the academic year and an initiation ceremony for first-year students.
