Abstract

The Research Seminar II is designed to support fourth-year students in preparing their Bachelor's theses through a structured system of interim pre-defences, individual feedback, and targeted consultations. The Research Seminar II is the continuation of the discipline “Research Seminar I” hold during the 3rd year of studies. Students progressively present and discuss the key components of their Bachelor's theses. Each presentation provides an opportunity to evaluate research progress, identify conceptual and methodological issues, and receive constructive feedback. By the end of the course, students are expected to demonstrate the progress required for the interim submission of at least 50% of their Bachelor's thesis and to develop a clear and feasible plan for completing the remaining work.
Learning Objectives

Learning Objectives

  • To support students in the systematic development of their Bachelor's theses
  • To evaluate the coherence and methodological soundness of students' research projects
  • To provide constructive feedback on the key components of the Bachelor's thesis at successive stages of preparation
  • To strengthen students' ability to critically assess, justify and refine their research decisions
  • To support students in achieving the required interim level of thesis completion and planning the remaining stages of research
