Elena Onegina took part in the international conference

The conference "Girlhood in an era of change: Gender equality as a cultural norm and social practice" was held on April 7

The organizers of the conference: "The Raisa Maksimovna Club " (the Gorbachev Foundation), the Heinrich Böll Foundation, Journal of Social Policy Studies.
Elena Onegina presented a report on the theme: "Towards adulthood: of exploration of the body by adolescent girls and young women", which was prepared in the framework of the project of the Center for Youth Studies "Age at work": the construction of age by girls and young women" (No. 14-05-0054), supported by the "HSE Scientific Fund"  Program in 2014-2015.
The conference provided opportunity to interact with researchers and activists from Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Sweden, Canada, South Africa.
We plan a book and a thematic issue of "Girlhood Studies", as well as several Internet publications in two journals ("The Journal of Social Policy Studies" and "NZ").
