This project is aimed at solving the scientific problem of studying the resilience and creative potential of the youth of the North Caucasus region in changing conditions in order to identify its role in increasing the attractiveness of the region. The study will take place in 5 regional locations: Nalchik, Stavropol, Cherkessk, Vladikavkaz, and Pyatigorsk.

The CYS Team Completed a Series of Presentations in Stavropol for 'Resilience and Creative Potential' Project

Researchers of the Centre for Youth Studies presented the results of the project in North Caucasus Federal University. The final trip to Stavropol was part from a series of presentations in cities of fieldwork for the the project 'Resilience and creative potential of the youth of the North Caucasian region in the context of educational and labor migration', which is supported by the Russian Science Foundation.

CYS Team Presented the Results of the project 'Resilience and Creative Potential' in Nalchik and Vladikavkaz

The team of Centre for Youth Studies at HSE University organised a series of presentations on results of the project 'Resilience and creative potential of the youth of the North Caucasian region in the context of educational and labor migration', which is supported by Russian Science Foundation. In April researchers presented findings from the fieldwork in Nalchik and Vladikavkaz and discussed migration intentions of the youth, local identities and development of creative spaces in North Caucasus cities with colleagues, students and representatives from creeative industries.

The CYS team participated in XXVI April International Academic Conference

The researchers of the Centre participated in XXVI April International Academic Conference named after Evgeny Yasin with the results of the projects about 'student' sciences, stand-up, and creativity of the youth of the North Caucasus.

An article was published by the CYS researchers: read about the concept of "creative city" in the Russian context

Natalia Solovieva and Dmitry Ivanov, researchers at the Centre for Youth Studies, published an article in the journal Sociological Journal. The authors examined the concept of "creative city" in the Russian academic discussion, analyzing 32 Russian publications (2010-2024, Scopus and Higher Attestation Commission journals).

The Russian Science Foundation will support the three-year research of the CYS: «Sustainability and creative potential of youth in the North Caucasus region in the context of educational and labor migration».
