The Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management was established in 2014. It is part of the School of Economics and Management at HSE St. Petersburg, a ‘big faculty’ that brings together economists and management specialists.
Teachers in the department support both the Bachelor’s programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the Master’s programme in Strategic Supply Chain Management.

On November 26, 2020, within the framework of the discipline "Methodology of scientific research in management: theory of logistics integration and research methods in logistics", a meeting was held with Mr. Jelle de Vries (Assistant Professor of Operations Management at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University https://www.erim.eur.nl/people/jelle-de-vries/).
Mr. Jelle de Vries spoke about the current areas of his research, including Business processes from a behavioural perspective; inventory management; forecasting; issues and challenges in modern warehousing and a number of others.
