Nikolayevsky Nikolayevich Nikolayevich, the best teacher of the Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg in 2018 and 2019, is going to be a lecturer of Master's programme

In the 2020-2021 academic year, N.N. Nikolaevsky, a senior lecturer in the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, will conduct classes for first-year masters of 'Strategic Management in Logistics' programme.

Classes will be held in the framework of research seminars, in which Nikolai Nikolaevich will introduce students to simulation modeling, an actual tool for developing process models and functioning of objects that differ in the implementation of algorithms in a virtual temporary environment. The main topics of the classes involve the study of various approaches to building models, the fundamentals of programming and algorithmization, as well as the principles of setting and formalizing tasks, and can be defined as:
- the basics of simulation in AnyLogic, Java syntax;
- systemic dynamics of supply chains;
- agent and discrete-event modeling of logistic processes, etc.
