At the level of the best master's programs in logistics and supply chain management: the results of the classes of prof. H. Lorentz in St. Petersburg.
In December 2021, for the fourth year in a row, Professor H. Lorentz (Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, Finland) held classes at the Higher School of Economics - Saint-Petersburg with masters students of the program "Strategic logistics management" in the discipline "Strategic purchasing and supply chain management".
The classes focused on the following topics: Key procurement concepts, Procurement strategy and category management, Supplier selection, Supply risk management, Sustainable procurement.

Harri Lorentz is acting professor of purchasing and supply management in the Operations & Supply Chain Management programme of Turku School of Economics at the University of Turku, Finland.
His research interests are concentrated on international sourcing and SCM, sourcing and SCM capabilities, system dynamics, as well as emerging markets.
He has been affiliated with the University of Cambridge and Manchester Business School as a visiting researcher, and has business experience from food export operations.
Dr. Lorentz has also contributed in World Bank led trade and transport facilitation projects in the CIS countries.
His research has been published, for example, in Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, International Journal of Physical Distribution & Logistics Management, and Industrial Marketing Management.
