As an international student at HSE University St. Petersburg, you will be able to choose from a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses taught in English. If you are fluent in Russian (minimum C1 proficiency level is required), you will also have access to courses taught in Russian.
Courses typically last 2-3 months, although there are a few courses (consisting of 6 ECTS) that last 4–6 months. The majority of courses are taught by HSE faculty, with several courses taught by international staff. We support diversity in our university and firmly believe in the unique value of international and intercultural learning. Time spent studying abroad will pay dividends in making you more competitive in the job market and providing access to international research opportunities. You will gain insights not only from your classes but through interacting with HSE students (including through the Erasmus Student Network HSE St. Petersburg and by participating in Student Life activities).
