About the School

The School of Arts and Humanities is a fast-growing faculty of the St. Petersburg Campus, which consolidates fledgling educational programs that have already earned an excellent reputation. Our mission is to educate modern specialists in the humanities, who possess a solid theoretical foundation combined with creativity, critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills. They can adapt flexibly to the constantly changing environment.

Interdisciplinary educational programs offered at the School meet the highest international standards. Most of our faculty are known worldwide and are unique specialists in their area of expertise. They challenge students by motivating to think critically and creatively.

We view St. Petersburg as an essential ‘participant’ in the educational process. Lectures and seminars take place in various cultural and educational centres as well as in city’s creative spaces. Students also get an opportunity to carry out their projects in those places. We train graduates who will creatively transform the cultural, historical, educational and social environments of their cities and countries.

The School strives to become an expert centre in the humanities and arts, conducting research in international teams led by world-renowned scholars. We design educational programs that align with the most current global trends and demands in the humanities.
