Registration Procedure. Types of Registration
1. Selected speakers with individual papers and session participants
If you have registered before January 31, 2017, and your paper(s)/ session presentation(s) have been selected, please complete your registration by paying registration fees and special events fees (if you want to participate) – Participant Registration. Step 2. Please see details below.
2. Co-authors and attendees
For those co-authors who are not speaking at the 2nd WCCE and other attendees who have not registered for the 2nd WCCE before January 31, 2017, but are willing to take part in all congress sessions and events, registration is a two-step process:
Registration. Step 1: Please fill in the questionnaire.
Participant registration. Step 2: Please pay registration fees and special events fees (if you want to participate) to complete your registration. Please see details below.
3. Accompanying guests
Family members and friends are welcome to accompany congress speakers on their trip to the 2nd WCCE. They are welcome to join a 2nd WCCE welcome reception and special events, however, they are not entitled to 2nd WCCE sessions, exhibition; coffee break and lunches; conference materials; and visa support. The Local Organizing Committee kindly recommends to attendees of special events to contact our authorized travel agency Fusion Travel Ltd. for tourist visa support, hotel bookings, etc. at wcce@fusion-tourism.ru .
What Registration Includes
1. The registration fee for registration type 1 & 2
The registration fee entitles selected speakers with individual papers, session participants, co-authors and attendees to the following:
- Welcome reception
- All sessions and exhibition
- Conference bag, final program
- Coffee breaks and lunches
- Visa support*
2. The registration fee for reregistration type 3
The registration fee for registration type 3 entitles accompanying guests to the following:
- Welcome reception
Unfortunately, our online payment form does not allow to cover special events only, without paying a registration fee. Thus, we are kindly asking attendees of special events to pay for a city bus tour and/or a boat trip via a bank transfer or on-site. Please see details below in the section "Payment Methods".

*Usually, it may take up to 1 month to make an official visa invitation for citizens of non-EU, UK, USA, and other countries. So we are kindly asking participants from these countries who would like to receive HSE visa support to register in advance.
All participants are kindly requested to register in advance by completing and submitting online registration forms with the appropriate fees.

* Reduced fees apply only to Ph.D. students younger than 36 years of age on February 2017 and delegates from all countries other than high-income countries, as defined by the World Bank. For the current 2017 fiscal year, low-income economies are defined as those with a GNI per capita, calculated using the World Bank Atlas method, of $1,025 or less in 2015; lower middle-income economies are those with a GNI per capita between $1,026 and $4,035; upper middle-income economies are those with a GNI per capita between $4,036 and $12,475; high-income economies are those with a GNI per capita of $12,476 or more. The current classification by income is available here.
Requests for reduction of registration fees will be considered by the Local Organizing Committee on a case-by-case basis. The Organizers’ decisions to grant or deny such requests will be determined by the amount of sponsor and grant funding.
Payment Methods
By card online
This is the preferred method of payment. All online transactions are done in Russian Rubles (RUR) only.
The legislation of the Russian Federation and HSE University rules require that all online payments by both Russian and international participants should be made in the national currency – Russian Rubles (RUR). Registration fees in Russian Rubles have been signed off by members of Program Committee and calculated with the reference to the 3-month average U.S. Dollar exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
All fees for the conference registration can be paid by card online clear of all bank charges. To complete your registration, please click Participant Registration. Step 2.
By bank transfers
All fees for the conference registration can be paid by bank transfer clear of all transfer charges*. Please ensure that the bank transfer form contains the delegate’s full name and the Second World Congress of Comparative Economics as the title of the event. - Transfer charges*
When you make an international wire transfer you can choose who pays the transfer charges.
BEN, SHA, OUR are codes in a SWIFT instruction, at field "Details of Charges".
The OUR instruction means you pay all transfer charges. We receive all your payment. SHA (shared) means you only pay your bank's outgoing transfer charge. We receive your payment minus the correspondent (intermediary) bank charges. BEN (beneficiary) means you do not pay any charge. We receive your payment minus all transfer charges.
We require all international transfers to us to be made with the OUR instruction.

Cash on-site
Please note that it is impossible to pay a registration fee on-site during the 2nd WCCE.
However, you can pay on-site for special events. On-site payment can be made in Russian Rubles (RUR) only. Please make sure to exchange your currency prior to attending the Congress.
Registration Confirmation
Upon receipt of the correct registration fee (clear of bank charges), each participant will receive a confirmation of registration. If do not receive them in several days, please send an inquiry to the Local Organizing Committee.
Your registration is not considered complete until your payment has been received.
Cancellation/ Refund Policy
Registration fees are non-transferable.
Registration fees will only be refunded if a written notice of cancellation is received by the organizers before April 21, 2017. The cancellation fee is 50 USD/ 3 000 RUR/ 45 EUR.
Cancellations after April 21, 2017, and no-shows are not eligible for a refund.
