Assessment Elements

  • blocking Written Project Proposal
Students are required to prepare a written Project Proposal in English outlining the research or project idea and the main parameters of their bachelor's thesis. The proposal must be 1,500–3,000 words and follow the prescribed structure, including an abstract, introduction, literature review or analysis of stakeholders and previous projects, methodology, anticipated and/or achieved results, and references (details on the structure will be provided additionally). The completed Project Proposal must be submitted electronically by the deadline. Submission of the written proposal is a prerequisite for admission to the oral defense.
  • blocking Oral Presentation
Students are required to deliver an individual oral presentation in English summarizing the main aspects of their Project Proposal, including the relevance of the research or project, its objectives, methodology and anticipated and/or achieved results. The presentation should last approximately 5–7 minutes and be supported by appropriate visual materials. The presentation file must be submitted at least two working days before the defense.
  • blocking Discussion
Following the oral presentation, students participate in a question-and-answer session with the examination committee. The discussion is conducted in English and typically lasts 2–10 minutes. Students are expected to demonstrate their understanding of the research or project, explain and justify their methodological choices, and provide reasoned responses to questions related to their Project Proposal and the broader research area.
