Abstract

This course will give an overview of the basics of Islamic insurance, mutual and investment funds. Students will learn about the concept of Takaful Ta’awuni (collaborative), the basis for Takaful, Takaful vs Conventional insurance, the Tabarru or donation - based Takaful model.
