The article by Professor Shirokova and graduated bachelor's students has been published in a high-ranked journal
Professor of the Department of Management Galina Shirokova, in collaboration with SEM bachelor's graduates of 2024, published an article in the high-ranked International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research.
The results of the thesis by Elizaveta Fedotova and Karina Khrabust, graduates of the SEM's bachelor's program "International Business and Management", in collaboration with their supervisor, Galina Shirokova (Professor of the Department of Management), and Marina Solesvik, Professor at the Western Norwegian University of Applied Sciences, were published in the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research. It is a high-ranked journal that belongs to list A of HSE University, rank 3 of ABS (Association of Business Schools), the first quartile (Q1) of SJR (SCImago Journal Rank), and is indexed in the Scopus and Web of Science databases.
The article “Proactive learning culture and SME performance in a challenging environment: the mediating role of innovative capability” examines how a proactive learning culture – a higher-order strategic orientation that integrates market, entrepreneurial, and learning orientations – affects the performance of Russian small and medium-sized enterprises operating in a challenging and uncertain environment. Specifically, the study explores the mediating role of innovative capability in this relationship, drawing on the dynamic capabilities and first-mover advantage perspectives.
