The Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management was established in 2014. It is part of the School of Economics and Management at HSE St. Petersburg, a ‘big faculty’ that brings together economists and management specialists.
Teachers in the department support both the Bachelor’s programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the Master’s programme in Strategic Supply Chain Management.

On September 21 and 23, 2020, within the framework of the Research Seminar "Inter-functional and inter-organizational integration in logistics", a meeting was held with the head of the logistics department, Yunna Mikhailovna Kharchuk ("Cargo Service Center" company)
During one and a half hour meetings, Yunna Mikhailovna spoke in detail about topical issues in the field of cross-functional and inter-organizational integration in logistics and global supply chain management, and also discussed two practical cases with students.

Cargo Service Center JSC was founded in 1993 with the aim of providing services in the field of air transportation and delivery of goods around the world.
The company has agency agreements with the world's leading air carriers performing regular cargo deliveries to St. Petersburg and Moscow. Among them: British Airways, Lufthansa, KLM, Air France, SAS, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Singapor Airlines.
"Cargo Service Center" we work not only with ordinary cargo of any complexity, but also have permission to handle and send dangerous goods.
The company has its own warehouse in close proximity to Pulkovo airport and Pulkovo customs.
