The Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management was established in 2014. It is part of the School of Economics and Management at HSE St. Petersburg, a ‘big faculty’ that brings together economists and management specialists.
Teachers in the department support both the Bachelor’s programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the Master’s programme in Strategic Supply Chain Management.

Daniil Shklyaev, graduate of the Master's programme 'Strategic Management in Logistics' at the Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg, is one of the best experts in the League of Professionals (Gazprom Neft PJSC)
At the end of 2019, PJSC Gazprom Neft held the League of Professionals tournament. It is a cross-functional competition of the Logistics, Refining and Sales Block of Gazprom Neft PJSC, in which more than 100 employees of various divisions of the company took part.
Daniil Shklyaev has become one of the best experts of the tournament. (Daniil is a graduate of the master's program “Strategic Logistics Management”, a graduate student of the Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg, chief specialist of the Logistics Development Department of the Department of Logistics and Transport of Gazprom Neft PJSC)
At the stage of preparation for the tournament, Daniil Shklyaev acted as the main expert of the 'Logistics' function in the development of tasks, and during the tournament he was a jury. Earlier, in 2017, Daniel won this tournament as a participant.
