Masters of 'Strategic Management in Logistics' Programme, Nadezhda Movchan and Julia Polyakova, have become participants of IMMOD-2019

The Ninth All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference IMMOD-2019 was held on October 16-18 on the basis of the Ural Federal University named after First President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin in Yekaterinburg.

The aim of the conference is to disseminate methods and means of simulation for solving scientific and practical problems, as well as intensify creative activities and strengthen the scientific and production potential of our country.

Participation in the conference involves the exchange of experience in the use of simulation for solving complex problems and discussion of the main results and trends in solving theoretical and applied problems.

Conference participants were first-year masters of the 'Strategic Management in Logistics' Programme, who made a presentation: "Modeling of logistics processes at container terminals."

Masters shared their impressions of the conference:
'Participation in the conference was an invaluable experience. We received good feedback on our report, and we also were able to discuss the possibilities of developing this topic in future research. We would like to especially note the master class from The AnyLogic Company on the features of using the Anylogic simulation environment.'
