The Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management was established in 2014. It is part of the School of Economics and Management at HSE St. Petersburg, a ‘big faculty’ that brings together economists and management specialists.
Teachers in the department support both the Bachelor’s programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the Master’s programme in Strategic Supply Chain Management.

On December 18, 2018, practical classes were held for the masters of the «Strategic Management in Logistics» program of the Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg in the «DKS Technopark», Tver.
In the curriculum of the master in «Strategic Management in Logistics» program, the «Digital Logistics, Robotics and Additive Technologies» discipline appeared for the first time in this academic year.
The final lesson on December 18, 2018, was not accidentally held in the «DKS Technopark», Tver. Students had the opportunity to see the Fourth Industrial Revolution with their own eyes: it was at this enterprise where digital logistics and supply chain management, robotics and additive manufacturing technologies, robotic systems in a unique automated warehouse (unparalleled in the industry in our country) became a reality.
DKS is the largest company in the world market of electrical products: today the company's product range includes more than 26,000 components and accessories. The company has several own factories in Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Hungary and Romania. Currently, the company works with 80 distributors in Russia, which have more than 500 sales offices throughout the country.
