Results of the seminar "HSE - START: DIRECTION OF LOGISTICS"

On October 30th, 2018, the first seminar "HSE - START: Logistics direction" has taken place which moderators were the deputy director of NRU HSE – Saint-Petersburg F.A. Kazin and the head of the department of logistics and supply chain management V.S. Lukinsky

The workshop was opened by a master-class by Olga Nekrasova (Customer success director, JSC "AHLERS RUS"): «Innovative approaches in the activities of the 3PL operator». Ms Nekrasova told about the concept of Smart Data of the company "AHLERS RUS", which includes such areas as Supply Network Visualization, Supply Network Risk Management, Supply Network Design, Supply Network Demand Forecasting, Carbon Footprint Calculation.

Evgenia V. Viryacheva, Ph.D., deputy director of the «EST Confectionary Factory», told about the specifics of managing the supply chain of goods with a limited shelf life.

Next, there were the teachers of the department of logistics and supply chain management at the NRU HSE – Saint-Petersburg Nikolay Nikolayevskyand Dmitry Petrovsky with an overview of current trends in the development of logistics and supply chain management.

After that, the projects of the students who entered the final of the first seminar "HSE - START: Logistics Direction": "The Impact of the Deficit on the Formation of the Inventory Management System"; "The status of the ports of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region and the impact on the economy of the region and the country"; "Optimization of the flow of visitors to medical institutions", etc. were displayed.

We congratulate the winners Artem Karnaukhov, Roman Molchanov, Nadezhda Movchan, Yulia Polyakova, Jana Manakova and finalists Sergey Tsoi, Sabina Iskenderova, Anna Morozova and wish them a further creative success!
