The Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management was established in 2014. It is part of the School of Economics and Management at HSE St. Petersburg, a ‘big faculty’ that brings together economists and management specialists.
Teachers in the department support both the Bachelor’s programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and the Master’s programme in Strategic Supply Chain Management.

The Logistics Museum, headed by a genuine enthusiast and a true professional in his field, Maxim G. Maximov, is the first and, to date, the only specialized museum in Russia, whose exposition covers the entire chain of product movement from producer to consumer. In the museum you can get acquainted with various areas of practical logistics: production, storage, handling and transportation of goods and learn about the current state, trends and prospects for the development of modern logistics.
First-year students of the undergraduate program «Logistics and Supply Chain Management» (over 100 people) as part of the on-site lesson of the Career Guidance Seminar and foreign first-year students of the master's program «Strategic Logistics Management» (6 people) on September 15th, 2018 could hear and see the answers on many questions: where was the first port in St. Petersburg? What is a «transparent» truck? How to say properly: a vessel or a ship? What type of transport is an apron bus? What is the difference between reachstacker and mooring crane? Etc
