Congratulations to the graduates with the successful defense of their theses!

The graduates successfully defended their theses, which were supervised by the staff of the Centre.

Our Centre congratulates Venera Bagranova, Ekaterina Barilo, Alexandra Buranova, Viktoria Galych, Veronika Efimova, Daria Kiriagina, Gulnaz Khabibullina and Maxim Solonin. These students chose different and interesting research directions for their papers connected with health in Russia. Theses were devoted to health shocks on employment, mental health, external factors of morbidity, health inequality, labor market connection with health, pharmaceutical industry concentration, mental health and methods for assessing the quality of life.

Reviews were written by Christopher J Gerry (PhD, Associate Professor of Russian and Eurasian Political Economy, Oxford School of Global and Area Studies and Dean, St Antony's College,University of Oxford). He highly marked the paper - 9 points out of 10. All the students also got excellent marks.
