Open lecture of professor Paul Kind: "New wine in old bottles : Valuing EQ-5D health states using innovative methods "

In this lecture, Professor Kind examined the orthodox economist's approach to valuing EQ-5D. Having questioned that he then shows that (paradoxically)  methods for valuation, based on a pseudo-EQ-5D collection in RLMS-HSE 2005 can work and has now been replicated using UK data. This discussion raises a clutch of important issues  which merit further exploration, thinking and discussion in the Russian, and wider health economics, context.
