XVI International Scientific and Practical Conference "Logistics: Current Trends of Development"
April 6-7, 2017 the scientific laboratory of research in the field of logistics of the Higher School of Economics - St. Petersburg, together with the Department of Logistics and Supply Chain Management of the Higher School of Economics - Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping and the St. Petersburg State Architecture and Construction University will organize the 16th International Scientific and Practical Conference "LOGISTICS: MODERN TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT".

Scientific research and the results of the conference are important for determining the ways of solving the problems of logistics development and supply chain management in the Russian Federation in the context of the integration and globalization processes, increasing competition, increasing the requirements for the efficiency of enterprises.
The most important tasks of the conference are to increase the efficiency of supply chains and reduce logistics costs, which determine the efficiency of the modern national economy. The solution of these problems requires the formation of an integrated approach based on the active interaction of scientists, teachers of higher education, and practicing specialists. Based on the results of the conference, a collection of materials will be published on topical logistics issues, which discuss the theoretical aspects of logistics, the practical application of logistics principles, and the teaching of logistics in higher education institutions.
