The concert and sports complex 'Arena' hosted one of the main events of the academic year—the graduation ceremony of HSE University-St Petersburg. In 2026, 1782 bachelor's and master's students of HSE University-St Petersburg got their diplomas, and 303 of them received an honours diploma. The festival gathered almost 6000 guests: bachelor's and master's graduates, their families and friends, as well as professors and mentors.

The Department of Media at HSE University-St Petersburg and the Department of Journalism at São Paulo State University (UNESP, Brazil) jointly hosted a research seminar covering the role of mass media in shaping the image of BRICS countries. The participants discussed problems that journalists have to face in Russia and Brazil when covering the activities of the organisation.

HSE University–St Petersburg wrapped up International Partners' Week with a lesson on Portuguese, a workshop on the dances of various Brazilian regions, a lecture about one of the most popular Brazilian musicians and a live performance by his devotees.
