Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course provides theoretical framework and practical insights of the global business. This is a "big picture" course. It is designed to provide students with a general overview of the major areas of global business. The course is designed to introduce global business in historic retrospective up to the modern changes in the global business landscape such as the COVID-19 pandemic, which has pummelled the global economy and caused the unprecedented business crisis looms. The course addresses the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the global business environment and data highlights of pandemic's economic impact and investors’ response. The successful completion of the course will increase students' capacity to think globally about a company, its business position on international markets, cross-cultural issues and possible sustainable competitive advantage in rapidly changing global business. environment.
