Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course addresses issues multinational companies face in the complexity of operating across borders. As the modern turbulent business world becomes a more challenging place to operate internationally it is necessary to educate students in contemporary tools of global environment analysis and global strategy formulation to supply the necessary skills of taking advantage of global business opportunities. The course provides a general overview of the major areas of international business including National Differences in Political, Economic, and Legal Systems; Ethics, CSR and Sustainability; Investment Environment; Government Policy and International; FDI and Regional Economic Integration; Global Monetary System; Strategy and Structure of International Business; International Business Functions. The successful completion of the course will increase students’ ability to think globally about any company, its positioning on international markets to achieve sustainable competitive advantage in rapidly changing international environment

  • The main goal of the course is to provide a systematic view on international business environment, to empower the students with critical skills and abilities, conceptual foundations and competences required for professional activity on global markets.
