Course Syllabus

Abstract

The course develops a framework for understanding the past and current trends in global economy with particular focus on developing countries. Main topics include major concepts of development, indicators to evaluate development process and main challenges developing countries currently face. A special attention is devoted to global health problems, poverty and inequality.
