The Day of Gradebook

Gradebook used to be an integral part of studying process of every student. They used to give it to teachers to assign, to desperately hold it and scream at the midnight 'let the grades be for free!' during examination periods.

Even three years ago, freshman was not considered as a student until he or she had a gradebook. That's why a huge concert with all the students from Faculty and all the administration accompanied the obtaining of student gradebooks.

Now things have changed. Gradebooks moved to LMS – a system for learning in the Internet – so nobody can touch it, admire signatures of lovely teachers or save it as a treasure for issue.

Nevertheless, the tradition did not die. Moreover, now gradebooks are not about marks and study, but about students’ life: every group has its own book to fulfill it with photos, wishes, various notes and so on to keep all the memories about their time in HSE alive. And this tradition supporting with the concert is even better, than previous one.

Thus, 'The Day of Gradebook' is a day of celebration of friendship, youth, students, the memories of which remain in life forever.
