Application

The applications and abstracts are to be submitted before May, 5th, 2018 via e-mail: semconf@hse.ru .
The notification of selection results will be sent to all applicants via e-mail before May, 10th, 2018.

Abstract requirements. Length – 1 - 1,5 pages (A4). The abstract should include a problem statement, a research goal(s), novelty, results, and implications. 

The abstract has to be typed in MS Word; font - Times New Roman 14 pt; space between lines – 1,5; the right margin -  30 mm, other margins –20 mm; indent the first line of each abstract by 10 mm. Sources have to be cited in text and complete reference citations have to be provided in References. First line –Abstract title (Times New Roman, 14; centered; bold; upper-case). Lines 2 - 4 – Times New Roman, 14; centered; bold; second line – the author’s last and first name, year of study, contact details such as e-mail and phone number; third line – institutional affiliation, fourth line – name of the supervising faculty member.  

The abstract example and other information are available below.The title page and the abstract should be saved as *.doc and named with the author’s last name (e.g., Ivanov title page.doc and Ivanov abstract.doc). Applications could be submitted in Russian and English.

Each participant should prepare a Power Point presentation (10 slides maximum), which should include a title slide (abstract title, author’s first and last name, name of the supervising faculty member, institutional affiliation), a problem statement, a research goal(s), results, and implications.

The author and his/her supervising faculty member are responsible for the content of the abstract. The conference Steering Committee might reject applications that do not follow the guidelines and edit abstract, if necessary.
All the papers will be published online after the event.  This applies only to those who participate in the conference in person.
