Timetable and Requirements

 Requirements for the Physical Education Course Credit in the 2025/26 Academic Year at HSE University – St. Petersburg:

1. For students who are on mobility programs / have a special health group A or B:

· The online course "Physical Education" on the Smart LMS platform will be available for study.
· To receive credit at the end of Modules 2 and 4, students must pass a final online test, which will become available after completing the online course.

2. For students studying in person in St. Petersburg who have a main or preparatory health group:

· Practical classes will be available.
· The online course "Physical Education" on the Smart LMS platform will be available.
· Lectures (will be included in the schedule).

To receive credit for the "Physical Education" course in Module 2, both 1st- and 2nd-year students must pass the final online test at the end of Module 2, which will become available after completing the online course. Additionally, students must undergo a mandatory medical examination according to the medical examination schedule (the schedule is prepared by the academic office).

To receive credit for the "Physical Education" course in Module 4, both 1st- and 2nd-year students must pass the final online test at the end of Module 4. Additionally, students must attend practical classes.
The required number of practical hours for credit can be accumulated throughout the entire academic year until the scheduled assessment date in Module 4.

Admission to classes is possible only after the department receives the results of the medical examination.
Admission to practical classes and assessment in the "Physical Education" course is strictly in accordance with the physical education health group.
The number of classes required for credit can be found in the course syllabus.

Students who have not undergone a medical examination and do not have a medical certificate indicating their physical education health group will not be allowed to participate in the practical component or the assessment for the "Physical Education" course.

When attending practical classes, students must bring: a towel for mats and gym equipment, sportswear and change of sports shoes, and water only in bottles.

Latecomers are not allowed to attend classes!
