Program Description
The Master's program in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation is designed to train specialists capable of creating, managing, and analytically supporting social entrepreneurship projects in the face of complex social, economic, and institutional challenges. The program combines management training, social sciences, data analysis, sustainable development, ESG approaches, and ethics, fostering a holistic understanding of social impact as a professional field.
The program is taught entirely in English and is integrated into the ecosystem of the Reputation Management in Education Laboratory (RepLab) and the International Satellite Laboratory for Social Entrepreneurship (HSE SPB – UTM Malaysia), as well as an international university consortium established in 2025. This ensures close links between education, research, and practice, as well as ongoing student interaction with Russian and international academic and practical partners.

Program partners
The program is implemented in collaboration with a broad network of international and Russian partners. International academic collaboration is facilitated through the International Satellite Laboratory for Social Entrepreneurship and a university consortium bringing together partners from the Asia-Pacific region and Latin America. Collaboration includes joint teaching, research and applied projects, the development of comparative case studies, and the participation of international professors.
The program's key Russian partners are leading foundations and organizations working in the field of social entrepreneurship and social innovation, including the Our Future Foundation, the Towards Change Foundation, and successful social entrepreneurs. These partnerships provide students with access to real-world projects, practical training, and professional expertise.
Educational tracks
The Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation program offers a flexible track structure, allowing students to develop an individual professional trajectory within a unified interdisciplinary core. Track selection is made during the course of study, with academic support.
Important: the track does not restrict the student, but rather helps define their professional focus while maintaining the interdisciplinary nature of the curriculum.
