General Procedures for Obtaining Access to Library Services

Access to the library services is provided for HSE-St. Petersburg students and staff members.

The electronic pass (HSE e-card)  also serves as a library card. First-year students can use a student card until they receive the electronic pass.

Registering to the library 

In order to join the library, you need to complete the online-form at the link on the library website.

Within 1 working day, a registration confirmation message with library user PIN-code will be sent to your corporate e-mail address.

To complete registration, you should show your electronic pass to the librarian on duty during your first visit to the library.

A PIN-code is required to obtain a login and password for a remote access to the HSE library electronic resources and other operations.

Providing access to the library electronic resources 

Electronic resources  (full-text databases of scientific publications) are available from any computer in the HSE local network, as well as in the remote access mode (by login and password).

Fill out the online registration form on the library's website to get a login and password for remote access to the HSE library electronic resources.

Within 1-2 days, an information for remote access mode will be sent to your corporate e-mail address.
