The festival was held in Vladivostok from September 20 to October 6, 2024. The event is being held for the third time and is one of the central events of the State Program for the Development of Theatre Art in the Far East, initiated by the State Theatre of Nations headed by its artistic director, People's Artist of Russia Evgeny Mironov.
As part of the festival, Miura Motoi and the troupe of the State Theater of Nations brought to Vladivostok the performance “Friends” based on the play of the same name by Japanese writer Abe Kobo, which premiered in February 2024 in Moscow at the State Theater of Nations. On October 2, a lecture by Miura Motoi was held as part of the festival's educational program. Screenings of the play were held on October 3-4, as well as meetings between the director and the actors involved and the audience. Olga Klimova acted as an interpreter during all the events.
