Abstract

The Project Proposal is a summary in English of the general idea and main parameters of the final qualification work and is an independent element, written and defended separately from the final qualification work. This exam checks students' readiness for oral presentation and defense of the results of scientific research on the topic of their final qualification work in English. The written text is admission to the oral exam. The text undergoes a mandatory check in the AntiPlagiate system.

  • A student is able to present the main aspects of their research proposal in a clear, logical and structured manner in accordance with the IMRaD pattern and other conventions of the English-language academic discourse.
  • A student is able to present the main aspect of their Project Proposal orally in accordance with the IMRaD pattern and other conventions of English-language academic discourse.
  • A student is able to provide clear, detailed and accurate answers to questions presented to them

Assessment Elements

Assessment Elements

  • blocking Concept Preparation
    The structure of the Project Proposal includes the following elements: cover page, abstract, introduction, main part, conclusion, references, appendices. Appendicesare included in the work if necessary.
  • blocking Presentation
    Presentation time: 6 -10 minutes. The content of the presentation should be relevant to the topic of the research project. The presentation style is scientific. Reading the presentation is not allowed.
